First Nations groups are being included in practically all Olympic events/events leading up to the games. Part of this involvement is performing drum songs. Four First Nations tribes are involved in creating a drum song and are currently trying to develop a song that represents all four of the nations. This process involves many traditional ceremonies such as bathing, fasting, sweat lodge, and various drum circles. |
